A Very Merry Beauty Salon is much better than it should be. I suspect it is like My Big Fat Greek Wedding - if you grew up in a tight community with large interconnected families it is one-of-the-best-movies-ever, if not you think it's stupid.
Rating: like big off the wall communities - watch it. Don't - skip it.
Meet Me at the Christmas Train Parade
Meet Me at the Christmas Train Parade has the feel of a bad high school theater production. No one forgot their lines. There is some beautiful shots of vintage early 20th century rolling stock and the Canadian Rockies.
Rating: unless you want to watch the rolling stock, skip it.
