There are two men named Bagley who settled in Charlotte County, New Brunswick before 1850: Hiram and Thomas Bagley.
Hiram Bagley died about 7 September 1830 based on New Brunswick early probate abstracts.1 His wife is listed as Eliza Bagley and his brother is John Bagley of Searsmont, Waldo, Maine. He is probably the Hiram Bagley that married Eliza Runnels in Eastport, Maine on Nov. 29, 1827.2 Hiram and John are likely children of Jonathan Bagley and Elizabeth Hall.3
Thomas Bagley was the son of Enoch and Mariam (Hoit) Bagley. He was born in Durham Maine. Family records have him living in New Brunswick.4 With Belinda Malcom, he had five children. He died on October 18, 1877 in Saint James, New Brunswick.
